Terms of Service

Last updated: February 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TTSAudit ("the Service"), operated by TTSAudit ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered account holders, API consumers, and dashboard users. By creating an account, generating an API key, or submitting audio files for analysis, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Service Description

TTSAudit provides automated quality assurance analysis for text-to-speech (TTS) audio files. The Service is delivered through a REST API and a web-based dashboard.

The Service offers the following analysis capabilities: (a) Speaker Consistency - detects voice drift and speaker inconsistencies across audio files using neural speaker embeddings; (b) Audio Quality Analysis - identifies artifacts including pops, clicks, spectral glitches, silence gaps, clipping, and bandwidth issues; (c) Speaking Speed Analysis - measures words-per-minute pacing and detects outlier speech rates via automatic transcription.

Analysis is performed on audio files you upload directly or provide via URL. Supported audio formats include MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, MP4, M4A, AAC, and Opus, with a maximum of 500 files and 1 GB total per request.

The Service uses machine learning models and signal processing algorithms to produce analysis results. Results are probabilistic and should be treated as guidance, not absolute determinations. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis output.

3. Account Registration and Security

To use the Service beyond browsing public pages, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported third-party authentication provider (Google). You may also enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) for additional account security.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep your account information current. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service.

4. API Keys

Upon account creation, you may generate API keys to access the Service programmatically. Each account is limited to a maximum of 10 active API keys at any time.

API keys are sensitive credentials. You are responsible for keeping them secure and must not share them publicly, embed them in client-side code, or commit them to public version control repositories. API keys are shown in full only once at the time of creation; we store only a SHA-256 hash and cannot recover the original key.

We reserve the right to revoke any API key at any time if we determine it has been compromised, used in violation of these Terms, or poses a risk to the Service or its users.

You are responsible for all usage incurred through your API keys, whether authorized by you or not. If you believe a key has been compromised, revoke it immediately from your dashboard.

5. Credits, Pricing, and Payment

The Service operates on a credit-based pricing model. Credits are consumed when you submit audio files for analysis. The cost per request is calculated as the number of files multiplied by the number of analysis types selected (speaker consistency, audio quality, and/or speaking speed), with each file-analysis combination consuming ten credits.

New accounts receive 100 free credits upon creation. No credit card is required to receive or use free credits.

Additional credits may be purchased in packages starting at a minimum of 500 credits. The current rate is $0.01 USD per credit. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information on our servers. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI DSS standards.

You may enable Auto Top-Up, which automatically purchases additional credits when your balance falls below a configured threshold. By enabling Auto Top-Up, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method for the specified amount each time your balance drops below the threshold. You may disable Auto Top-Up at any time from your dashboard.

Purchased credits do not expire and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partially used credit packages.

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees imposed by your jurisdiction.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

You may not: (a) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the underlying models, algorithms, or source code of the Service; (b) use the Service to process audio content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable; (c) attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, authentication mechanisms, or other security measures; (d) use automated means to create accounts, generate API keys, or abuse the free credit allocation; (e) resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its outputs without our prior written consent; (f) submit malicious files designed to exploit vulnerabilities in the Service; (g) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, without notice, for any violation of these acceptable use provisions. Violations may also result in permanent revocation of API keys and forfeiture of remaining credits.

7. Synthetic Audio Only

The Service is designed and intended exclusively for analyzing synthetic (text-to-speech) audio content. You agree to use the Service only with audio generated by TTS engines, voice synthesis systems, or similar artificial speech generation technologies.

You must not submit recordings of natural human speech, including but not limited to: live voice recordings, phone calls, interviews, podcasts featuring real speakers, voicemails, or any audio containing the unmodified voice of a real person. The Service is not designed to process, identify, or classify natural human voices.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that all audio content you submit is synthetically generated and does not contain biometric data of any identifiable natural person. If you submit audio containing natural human voice data in violation of this section, you do so entirely at your own risk and assume full legal responsibility for any consequences, including but not limited to liability under biometric privacy laws (such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, Texas CUBI, or equivalent legislation in any jurisdiction).

We expressly disclaim all liability arising from the submission of natural human voice recordings to the Service. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or legal actions resulting from your submission of non-synthetic audio content.

8. Audio Data and Content

You retain all ownership rights to the audio content you submit to the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your audio files or the content contained within them.

Audio files uploaded directly to the Service may be temporarily stored in our cloud storage infrastructure (Cloudflare R2) for the duration of an audit session to enable result retrieval and audio playback. Files associated with audit sessions are retained for at least 90 days. Audio processed via URL may be fetched and analyzed in memory without persistent storage.

We do not use your audio content to train, fine-tune, or improve our machine learning models. Your audio data is used solely for the purpose of performing the analysis you requested.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit audio content to the Service, and that your use of the Service does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or privacy rights of any third party.

9. Analysis Results

Analysis results including scores, labels, anomaly flags, and metadata are stored in association with your account indefinitely until you delete them or your account is terminated.

You may export analysis results in JSON format via the dashboard or API. Results are provided for your internal use. We make no representations regarding the fitness of analysis results for any particular purpose.

Analysis results are generated by automated systems and may contain errors, false positives, or false negatives. You should exercise your own judgment when acting on analysis results and should not rely on them as the sole basis for critical decisions.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including but not limited to: Google Cloud Platform and Firebase (authentication, database, hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Cloudflare (content delivery, DDoS protection, and object storage), and Modal (GPU compute for audio analysis).

Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or conduct of any third-party service.

We may change third-party providers at our discretion. Such changes will not materially alter these Terms but may result in changes to the Service's operational characteristics.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, algorithms, models, user interface, documentation, branding, and all related intellectual property, is owned by TTSAudit and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include any right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service.

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names used in the Service are the property of their respective owners.

12. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes or planned downtime.

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service downtime, data loss, or interruptions.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF RESULTS.

IN NO EVENT SHALL TTSAUDIT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TTSAudit and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; (d) any audio content you submit to the Service.

15. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature in the dashboard. Upon deletion, your account data, API keys, audit sessions, and associated records will be purged within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to: violation of these Terms, fraudulent or abusive behavior, extended periods of inactivity, or legal or regulatory requirements.

Upon termination, your license to use the Service immediately ceases. Any remaining credits in your account at the time of termination are forfeited and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to: Sections 7 (Synthetic Audio Only), 8 (Audio Data), 11 (Intellectual Property), 13 (Limitation of Liability), 14 (Indemnification), and 17 (Governing Law).

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We may notify registered users of material changes via email or through a prominent notice on the Service, but are not obligated to provide advance notice.

Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with arbitration conducted in the English language.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.

18. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TTSAudit regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
